Annual Fees

2026 Fee Schedule

All fees are due on a calendar year basis. Inspection fees increase the later payment is received.

Inspection Fees per sled

Postmark / Payment Date Fee
On or before February 1 $500.00
February 2 – March 1 $600.00
March 2 – April 1 $650.00
April 2 or later $700.00
Not postmarked by May 1 Revocation

Initiation Fees new members

Payable over the first two years. First half due upon application; second half due at the start of the second year of membership.

Sled Class Total Fee
Class 1 – 4 $500.00
Class 5 – 8 $1,000.00

Members without an active sled are assessed an annual maintenance fee of $50.00. If membership lapses, the new member initiation fee applies.

Payment & Invoice

All inspection fees and insurance premiums must be paid before a sled license will be issued. NASOA licensing is dependent upon NASOA inspection, and insurance coverage is dependent upon NASOA licensing.

Insurance Enrollment Forms

Insurance coverage through NASOA is dependent upon NASOA licensing. All members must be in good standing and all fees paid before an insurance certificate will be issued. Download the appropriate enrollment form below.

NASOA Certified Sled Insurance

For sleds enrolled in the NASOA-only insurance program through K&K Insurance. Includes liability & medical coverage.

NTPA Certified Sled Insurance

For sleds enrolled in the NTPA-only insurance program through K&K Insurance. Liability coverage for 2026 pulling season.

Note: Any sled pulling a vehicle classified above what the sled is licensed for does so without insurance coverage. All WPI/NASOA combination or NASOA-only sleds must be members in good standing before an insurance certificate will be issued. See Rule Book Section 3 for full insurance requirements.
